Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 10 October 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
These terms govern use of the PosBharat Android application, web applications, POS billing software, inventory tools, and related services.
By using PosBharat, the user agrees to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. A person who signs up for a business confirms that they are allowed to do so for that business.
2. Services
PosBharat software can include:
- POS billing
- GST invoice preparation
- Inventory management
- Product management
- Sales reporting
- Customer management
- Employee and staff access
- Bluetooth receipt printing
- Access that depends on an active subscription
What a business can use depends on the plan and on the version of the app.
3. Accounts
Users must give accurate account information and must keep their sign-in details private. The business owner decides which staff can sign in and what they can see. Opening another business’s records without permission is not allowed.
4. Subscriptions and payments
Some PosBharat services need a paid subscription that is already active for the business.
The Android application distributed on Google Play can use an existing PosBharat subscription. That Play application does not show a subscription checkout, and it does not sell, upgrade, or renew a subscription inside the app. Purchase and renewal are arranged through PosBharat’s own channels outside that Play application, in line with Google Play’s rules.
Price, tax, the billing period, what the plan includes, and the renewal terms are those told to the buyer at the time of purchase. Refunds and cancellation follow the terms given for that subscription and the law that applies. These terms do not add a separate refund window or a cancellation fee.
5. Billing and tax
PosBharat is a tool for preparing invoices, recording sales, and calculating tax from the settings the business enters. The business is responsible for product details, transaction details, tax settings, tax registration information, and for checking an invoice before it is issued. PosBharat does not replace an accountant, a tax adviser, or a lawyer. The business remains responsible for its GST and accounting duties.
6. Business data
The business keeps its rights in its products, invoices, customer records, and other business information. PosBharat processes that information to provide the software. The business must have authority to enter personal information about customers or employees.
7. Bluetooth printers and other hardware
PosBharat can print to compatible Bluetooth thermal printers. Printing depends on the printer, the phone or tablet, the operating system, the permissions granted, and the connection. A business should test the printer it intends to rely on.
8. Acceptable use
Users must not:
- Use the service for an unlawful purpose
- Create false or fraudulent transactions
- Open another business’s data without authority
- Bypass security
- Share or misuse subscription access
- Distribute malware
- Interfere with the service
9. Availability
PosBharat aims to keep the software available. Maintenance, networks, devices, and infrastructure can still interrupt it. PosBharat does not promise that the service will be continuous or free of errors.
10. Privacy
Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy: https://posbharat.com/privacy-policy.
11. Closing an account
A user can ask for an account to be deleted.
- Website: https://posbharat.com/account-deletion
- Email: team@posbharat.com
Closing a whole business can require proof that the requester is the owner. Records the law requires a business to keep, including invoices and accounting records, can be retained for the period that applies to those records. Deleting a staff login does not by itself close the business.
12. Intellectual property
The PosBharat software, name, logo, and other materials PosBharat owns are protected by intellectual-property law. A subscription or other agreement gives a limited right to use the software. Copying, redistributing, or reselling it without permission is not allowed.
13. Liability
To the extent the law allows, PosBharat is not responsible for loss caused by information a user entered incorrectly, by hardware PosBharat does not support, by a network or device failure outside the service, or by someone else using an account because the credentials were not kept safe. These terms do not remove a right or a liability that the law says cannot be removed.
14. Changes to the service
PosBharat can release updates, security fixes, and feature changes. Where the law requires notice of a change that matters to users, PosBharat will give that notice.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the Indian courts that have authority, except where the law gives a person a different forum that cannot be waived.
